O' Blow wind, blow
On this sacred day
For the souls of fifteen
soldiers
We humbly bow and pray…
O' Howl wind, howl
Echo our refrain…
O' carry our laments
To a higher, sacred plane.
O' Blow sweet wind, blow
Bring us clouds of rain
To mingle with our teardrops
And wash away their stains…
O' Blow wind, blow
Blow and never wane…
We weep for fifteen soldiers
Who, on this day were slain!
