It seems to me ironic,
That history should divide
Into time before a Savior,
And that Savior crucified.

But all the days and minutes,
Of time elapsed each day,
Resonate in an echo,
Since Jesus walked this way.

All the things before Him,
Reckoned to a peak,
A pivotal, defining center,
In history, so unique…

And in my life, I find,
The pivot is the same…
Every moment led to
A God who knows my name…

Every thing before Christ,
Now, I know was vain,
Running towards illusion,
With nothing to obtain.

But every heart must answer,
And every soul decide…
Will He be your pivot?
This Savior crucified?
