As Dawn arises on another new day
I give thanks to God as I kneel to pray
Rested I am ready for my day to start
And I have peace within my heart.

At dawn even the flowers look new
Sparkling in the sunlight with dew
Hummingbirds fluttering around
Seeking sweet nectar to be found

Birds are singing high in the trees
Listen to music float from the leaves
Fleecy white clouds move quietly by
As dawn arises in a blue sky.

This lovely scene brings me peace
I know God's grace will never cease
I will give praise and honor to Him above
As another dawn arises with His love
