~ Every Face ~
Every living countenance,
Has a chronicle to tell,
Inscribed by years of living,
With signs that parallel.
With every face, a story…
Just waiting to be told,
Written there, behind the eyes,
Recited on the soul.
An epic with a sad spin,
Leaves a soul to frown,
Look there around the mouth,
It's corners oft turned down.
A journal of the faithful
Adorns a truthful heart,
Read the words emblazoned there,
In God's own work of art.
Yes, every face a story,
Learn to read them well,
Seek for words behind the gaze,
They're printed in detail…
