~ Faith In God's Plan ~
We all understand that death will become a part of our life.
We are certain to experience the loss of someone we love.
Maybe a child, a parent, a friend, a husband or wife
Who will, forever more, reside with God in heaven above.
Will the time ever come that a day passes without tears?
The longing to again hear their laughter; feel their embrace.
Will this sadness stay with us as we live out our years?
While, daily, only in memory, we see an image of their face.
Tears readily flow with the words of a poem; the lyrics of a song.
The tears that we hope will lessen the grief one drop at a time.
And maybe, once more, we will find that our lives move along,
And faith will return and trust in God's plans that we know are sublime.
