There's a deep calling in my heart
One I must fulfill,
I cannot rest until it's done
Only then will I be still.
I want to show my daughters
What will form content inside,
For beneath outside appearance
A deeper worth can hide.
If we groom our inner self
Not superficial things,
Then great will shine our joy
For the peace of heart it brings.
This worth cannot be found in self
For self is more of me,
How can that change my heart
Or set my spirit free.
Our heart is like a garden
It needs much help to grow,
The deep warmth of the sun
Someone to weed and trim and mow.
To heal our broken memories
And guide us in our future course,
Plant within his choicest flowers
From his loving source.
So if God is in our heart princess
Imagine wonder within,
Filled with all His beauty
A daughter of the King
