~ God Willing ~ 
 
 
Many many years ago
An angel said to me
God is love, God is hope
And, it's plain for all to see
 
So, why, now, is our world
So filled up with hate?
We all need to change this
Before we find it's too late.
 
With guns our neighbors we kill,
Bombs we are dropping each day.
When will we know God's wrath
If we continue this horrible way.
 
We are all children of God.
Surely this is not part of His plan.
Where is the love He placed in us all,
In the heart of each child, woman and man?
 
Neither the strangeness of dress
Nor the color of our skin
Should be an excuse to fight
A war where no one can win.
 
Let's stop all of this road rage,
Stop the terror, stop the killing.
With only a hand in friendship
Let's all live in peace, God willing.
