Tonight as you curl up to sleep
I pray God's love to softly keep,
For all your dreams to gently say
How blessed your life has been today.

For though you're in my heart to stay
I am just too far away,
His tender arms will hold you close
As He's the one to love you most.

All I can send you is my prayer
And longings that I might be there,
So, as you dream while fast asleep
Imagine how, one day we'll meet.

And then we'll hug and chat for long
Or maybe hush, cause we 'belong',
And closeness we will never miss.
Because together is eternal bliss.
