Seventy-Eight??
Now I'm hangin'
in for
seventy-eight,
Stickin'
around for
next years
date.
Hopin' St.
Peter is
willin' to
wait
'Cause I'm
plannin' on
bein' late.
So many things
I have yet to
do,
So many places
I still want
to go.
So many
friends still
to write to,
For life is a
blast, don't
you know.
Lots of wishes
yet to come
true,
I need more
time before I
depart.
With so many
friends such
as you
Life for me
has just begun
to start.
Life begins at
forty, they
say,
But I say,
that's not
true, no way.
Second
childhood's
the age to
stay,
Looking
forward to
every single
day.
So, I hope to
see you all
next year
With a party
full of good
cheer.
In my heart I
keep you all
so near,
For each of
you are so
very dear.

For the first
half of your
life, people
tell you what
you should do;
for the second
half, they
tell you what
you should
have done.
