~ SAFE PASSAGE ~

From the harbor of my body,
into Life's stormy sea,
Lord, grant this babe safe passage,
as I pledge her life to Thee.

Keep this precious cargo in Thy certain, tender care,
Bless Thy new creation and in her future share.
Lord, Be her sanctuary, when gusts of life prevail,
Blow fair winds upon her and calm the stormy gale.

Grant this tiny vessel Safe Passage thru each trial,
Clothe her soul in Your Love and in her heart, Your smile.
From my tender harbor, into her first day's night,
Lord, start her on her journey, lead her by Your Light!
