~ My Heavenly Birthday ~

Hey, Mommy, just look at me,
Laughing and running, you see.
I know it's my birthday, Mama dear.
But, please, can I celebrate it up here?



Would you believe, I sat on Jesus' knee,
And, He said Happy Birthday to me ??
Oh, Mama, this is such a happy place,
Lots of kids with a smile on their face.



No one is sick and no one has pain.
There is lots of sunshine, never any rain.
I see presents and birthday cake too.
Balloons, red, green, yellow and blue.



Yes, Mama, I am so happy, that's true.
I just miss one thing, Mama, that's you.
You made me happy as best you could.
But, you could not cure me, I understood.



So, today I'm celebrating this birthday
In a special place in a very special way.
I am in Heaven in more ways than one,
And nothing on earth could be more fun.
