Some friends and I were talking
Of a Spirit in the air...
A wind of change that's blowing-
It's blowing everywhere...

Who can know its pathway?
Or what ruffles it will make?
What fate will gust before us,
Or emerge for Heaven's sake?

But I feel the wind a-coming…
I feel it in my hair…
A breeze that's not so gentle,
But as hopeful as a prayer…

So blow, Ye Old Wind, blow,
Blow and rant and rave
I'll not bat an eyelash---
Bring the change I crave!
