~ No Regrets ~

Before you had to go,
I should have taken time-
We could have sang a song,
Or found green hills to climb.

But quickly move the minutes,
Life carries them away,
The hours pass and days run fast,
Alas, they never stay.

But inner, hidden pulses
Beat in one accord-
We think time's gone
But it's moved on-To Eden, now restored.

How beautiful, each mountain,
How green, each rolling hill-
Our time will come for songs unsung,
And oh, our souls will thrill!

How merciful Our Father,
How wonderful and just!
Our God of second chances
Returns sweet Life to us!
