~ On Bended Knee ~

Dear Lord, I come on bended knee
Asking you to keep our loved ones safe
They're in another country fighting
So this world will be a safer place.

Bless the dreams they have each night
Hold them in your arms as they sleep
Surround them with your protective white light
And dry their eyes if they weep.

Show our enemies the way of love
To end this senseless war
Visit them in their dreams at night
Show them there is so much more.

Bring our loved ones home to us
Our heart grieves so much while they're gone
Hold us each in your loving heart
Help us to make it through each day.
