I wandered through a field of wheat
Drenched in flaxen hue
Seeds of grain smelled so sweet
Kissed by morning dew…

A bright new day unfurls its flag
Picking up the stars
And marks each moment with a tag
Defining who we are…

Life is filled with sterling moments
Filling volumes of memoirs
Delivered softly to our feet…
Just pick up all the stars
