Sapphire, Beauty Blue ~
Of all the jewels in my crown,
My sapphire, Beauty Blue,
Shines like sequins on a gown,
Made of morning dew.
Beauty's seen by all who gaze,
Laurels are amassed,
Depth and value, once appraised
Will not be surpassed.
Alas, the light her soul reflects,
Shines from inside out,
Making worth more complex,
Measured by no doubt.
A gift from God, so luminous,
A gem of wondrous hue,
A blessing sent for all of us…
