~ To My Worm-Weary Friend ~

As I woke this morning,
I thought what shall I do,
It's such a pretty world today
To share with lovely you.

So as I make my coffee
I imagine you sitting there,
At the PC desk wanting to chat
On your favorite chair.

Warm muffins I have baked
Your favorite flavor too,
We'll enjoy God's warmest sunshine
His canopy of azure blue

Sometimes we talk away
About anything at all,
Or just sit quiet, delighting
In the birds most cheery call.

But when the cyber worms start biting
We load our patch and dash,
The time we have to spend together
Stolen by hackers in a flash.

I pray your box will clear
From the virus plague of spam,
That so big traffic won't have you worm-weary
Of cleaning out the sham.

Our email addresses are violated
Crammed with Re:  Approved spyware,
Backdoor functions worming in
Of such we're not aware.

Roll on expiry date
Delete yourself choking MSBlaster,
I want my friends back
And to be my computer master.

Don't disappear my special friend
Have yourself a lovely day,
And do click in anytime soon
I so enjoy your stay.
