~ What's  Wrong With Gran' ~

Grandsons with trumpets in hand
Playing in the high school band
Asking "What's wrong with ole Gran" ...
"Why can't she behave like other Grans can?"

No matter who's around
with full blast sound...
Gran puts on James Brown...
Yells out "Let's all get down!"



We're not awfully proud
when out in a crowd...
Right out loud...
ole Gran says "get off my cloud."

When small, over an old teddy, a fight.
Ole Gran settled that fight real quiet!
Out the car window using her right...
She threw that teddy right out of sight!



Awww, Mom, it's true...
We used to think her younger than you!
But now we're almost a man...
"What's wrong with ole Gran?"

She listens to hard rock and metal
drives around town with heavy petal...
"What's wrong with Gran,"
asks my little Gran man.



Well, my grandsons, my dear....
Rock and metal is all Gran can hear!
And no matter time or place
Gran's always loved to race.

She's from a time when spirits were free
and God just blesses ole Gran to be ...
There's only one thing to do ...
just love your ole Gran true.
