~ Where Was God ~

Where was God that sunny morn,
When the Pentagon was ripped and torn?
When the plane crashed thru and the fires swept.
When the dead fell down, and survivors wept?

He was right there in the Western wing
When the fires spread and the death's bells rang!
Where prayer circles hastily formed.
The dying held in each other's arms.

 Where workers, Privates, Officers, too
Worked so hard to save so few.
Where injured were rushed to safety's side.
When hundreds of innocent died.

He was there-He stood alone
Welcoming His children home.
He was there for those in pain
Healing the injured whole again!

Yes, God was THERE! Ask those who saw
His Glorious face and stood in awe!!
