~ Woman At The Well ~

Give me a crumb from the table,
I want to eat of the Living Bread,
O Lord, my souls so hungry,
And inside, I feel so dead.
Just a crumb from The Master's table,
And I'll be on my way,
A precious crumb, 
To sustain my soul,
To keep me from day to day. 

Give me a lamp in the darkness
That shines a path thru the night,
Yes, give me a lamp in this dark world,
O give me the Living Light…
Just a flicker of hope,
From the White Flame, 
Would cut thru all the despair,
One little light,
Would shine, oh so bright,
And come from an uttered prayer.

O give me the Living Water,
For my spirit truly does thirst…
Please take me down to the river,
And let my spirit be immersed.
Yes, give me the Living Water,
I want to swim
From shore to shore,
Just a drop of the Living Water,
And I'll not ask for more...
