Alas, another year gone by,
And still sometimes at night I cry...
For people lost that tragic day,
When Angels carried them away.

My heart still grieves for families here...
Who lost their loved ones held most dear,
I wish a word from me could heal
All the pain their hearts must feel.

I hope they all will realize
We'll not forget those shortened lives...
And that one day we'll all be one,
When our work upon this Earth is done.
