The day was so long,

my jammies I must go...
now
the night just seems
to
go on and on...
Tossing and turning,
trying so hard
to
get the sleep I need...
with
bright eyes
that
just can't sleep, up I go,
to
my little friend
that's waiting

for me.

me to far away places,
that
I wish I could be....

my new family and friends,
