The gate is beginning to open
To a world that is waiting beyond
Step out of fear into freedom
And follow a bright paragon…

You've done so much I am proud of,
You've left your smile on my soul
I wish you all of God's blessings
That Life and Time can unfold…

So swing the old creaking hinges
Of the gate that's kept you restrained,
Step through the portal with gladness
To the joy of freedom's terrain.

Step through the threshold in boldness
Live the life that's waiting on cue,
There's nothing to keep you from soaring
