I'd buy you an expensive perfume
But too soon it would be all gone
I'd buy you some real champagne
Or I could buy you your favorite song.
I would buy you some expensive clothes
But too soon they would probably wear out
I would buy you a pretty ribbon for your hair
But that is not what Valentine's Day is about.
So what I will offer to each of you
Will last you your whole life through
And that is the promise of my friendship
I promise to always be right here for you.
