Where My Thoughts Wander ~
It has been a long time since we talked
I wonder what happened to what we had
I miss you more with every tick of the clock
My heart is feeling so very sad
Our evening chats that made my day complete
The times we did joke, cry, tease and play
Talk about our likes, loves, and our dreams
What happened to us since those days
My thoughts wander to you and your way
That you could know what I was thinking
Knowing you knew what I was going to say
And knowing your eye would be winking
I pray to God that all is right with you
I hope someday we once again will meet
I keep thinking of the time I fell for you
And a love and friendship I wanted to keep
